When you think Levi’s there is one thing that always springs to mind. The 501. The signature red tab jean that pretty much kicked off the popularity of denim across the globe. Sometimes when a brand has such an iconic product in its stable they struggle to diversify and become a bit of a one trick pony. Levi’s has bucked this trend by branching out with a range of splinter labels and collections each with a slightly different style and story.
Levi’s Made & Crafted sits at the more premium end of the Levi’s market. The story here is pretty simple; they build on the heritage and great design of classic Levi’s but they implement modern materials and construction techniques. Craft is important here, shirts are hand-sewn using a single-needle construction, and all denim are hand finished.
The whole collection emanates a cosy, rugged but urban feel which is perfect for Autumn. BrandAlley have an exclusive collection of Levi’s Made & Crafted menswear dropping in their sale this weekend and I have taken a sneaky peek at some of the looks included…
I am not normally a lover of winter fashion but the look above definitely does it for me. Layered, warm, masculine and colourful, the ideal outfit for a weekend stroll or citybreak. Red is one of those colours that people are often scared of, but when it’s worn like this it can work for anyone.
Trucker jackets, big knits and khakis are great key pieces too, especially with the crafted nature and classic style used here. These kind of items if anything look better with age, buy them now and next winter they will look even better.
