It is not very often that a remix of a chart track makes such an impact that it changes the whole dynamic of the music. The work that Jonas Rathsman has done on the Sam Smith single ‘Like I Can’ has done just that completely rejuvenating the sound.
The Swedish producer has already done some great things this year on Duke Dumont and Tensnake releases but this time it is the turn of the current king of British ballads Sam Smith to receive the garage-esque makeover.
The remix of ‘Like I Can’ takes a couple of minutes to properly kick off but when it gets there it is pretty big. If you have not already heard this drop in a club then you are in for a treat, it has anthem written all over it.
