Last week I headed along to the Chisholm Hunter hunter store in Glasgow with Peter from The Gentlemen Select for a preview of the new 2016 Bremont watches collection. The evening was hosted by Giles English, one of the brand’s founders who was on hand to share some of his past personal adventures as well as talk us through the exciting history of the British luxury watch brand.
This was my first introduction to Bremont and I was pleasantly surprised by the new collection which features a limited-edition collaboration with the aviation giants Boeing. My highlight from the styles on show on the night was most definitely the ALT1-C/PB. A simple yet beautiful dress watch that will look great worn with a suit but not out-of-place with a more casual outfit.
All of the watches in the Bremont collection are made in fairly limited numbers. This is mainly due to the huge amount of time that it takes to craft and then assemble of the components of the watches. Once ready though your watch will be delivered with an accompanying letter from either Nick of Giles English (the founders) which I think is a lovely personal touch.
