Glasgow’s beloved Queen’s Park Spring Weekender is back for 2025, bringing two days of music-fueled celebrations over the May Day bank holiday. Hosted by Melting Pot and Optimo (Espacio), the festival is set to take place on Saturday, May 3rd, and Sunday, May 4th, promising an eclectic mix of dancefloor legends and cutting-edge live acts.
Saturday’s lineup sees a powerhouse back-to-back set from Horse Meat Disco and Colleen “Cosmo” Murphy, alongside Folamour and Melting Pot’s own Simon Cordiner. More names are expected to be announced soon, but this already sets the stage for a high-energy day of disco, house, and soulful grooves.
Sunday shifts the energy with Optimo (Espacio) at the helm, delivering back-to-back sets with Erol Alkan and The Blessed Madonna. The lineup also features the dub-heavy sounds of Aba Shanti-I, Glasgow’s own electronic talent Nightwave, and live performances from Barcelona’s avant-garde duo Dame Area and Edinburgh post-punk outfit Bikini Body.
With a reputation for blending underground energy with a vibrant outdoor atmosphere, the Queen’s Park Spring Weekender has become a staple in Scotland’s festival scene. Whether you’re in it for euphoric house, eclectic electronica, or raw live performances, this year’s edition looks set to deliver once again.
Mark your calendar and stay tuned for further lineup announcements—this is one not to be missed.
