Our summer wash bag essentials

Prepping for a trip is one of my least favourite tasks on earth, its right up there with changing the bed sheets – HATE IT!  Unfortunately it is a necessary evil and an essential part of any trip be it for business or pleasure.  Deciding what to take and what not to take away with you is never easy but aside from fashion what other items win a space in your summer wash bag?

There is some products that i never like to leave home without so I have compiled a little selection of my top 5 wash bag essentials for summer trips.  The good news is these items won’t break the bag with most of them available to pick up on your local high street:

Palmers Cocoa Butter Men Face & Body

I have been a long time fan of the Palmers Cocoa Butter range which is rich in vitamin E.  This is a no-nonsense all over body lotion which keeps your skin in order when it needs a little more hydration, like after a gym workout.  It is perfect too as a post sunbathing formula so is definitely a summer holiday must-have.  The good news is that thanks to the launch of this just for men range, the same great cocoa butter formula now comes with a more masculine fresh scent.

Polo Red by Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren recently added a new addition to their Polo line of fragrances with the launch of Red.  The scent is a spicy blend with base notes of saffron, grapefruit and redwood.  This scent will see you through the rest of the summer and into Autumn too.

ADAM Multi Vitamins

When travelling it is sometimes difficult to stay topped up with your daily intake of goodness, food and drink can sometimes be the wrong type or you may not have time to grab anything.  ADAM is a men’s multi vitamin that I have been using for quite some time now.   It claims to keep men functioning at top power and it seems to work for me.

Fudge Matte Hed Extra

Matte Hed has been keeping my hair in order for years.  The product has just the right amount og hold to control a style but not make it look saturated in product or greasy.  I like that you can restyle as the day progresses and easily add texture.

Original Source Mint Scrub

There really is no shower like an Original Source shower, especially the scrub collection.  Not only does it leave your skin feeling awake and revitalised, the tingle that it leaves behind is pretty fun too…!  Its vegan safe and packed with natural goodness too so you really cannot go wrong.

Tried any of these or think we missed something from the list?  Let us know your essentials by getting in touch!

  • I would recommend the Raleigh Wash Bag from MAHI Leather for the actual dopp kit, I got my boyfriend one embroidered with his initials for his birthday and he finds it really handy having the extra under-compartment
