Veske is a new sub-brand of the Montrose Rope & Sail Company Ltd, a Scottish brand with a proud heritage that dates all the way back to 1789.
The origins of the company were in making sails and rope for the fishing fleets in the northeast of Scotland, so it’s fair to say that they know a thing or two about durability and craftsmanship.
The new Veske bag range has taken inspiration from their parent company to ensure that all of their products are built to last and with sustainability at their heart. To craft the three signature styles in the collection, Veske sourced materials from Halley Stevensons, the waxed cotton specialist, whose factory is only 30 miles away from their Montrose workshop.
There are three bags in the Veske Heritage collection the James Weekender, the Usan Utility Pouch and our Most Wanted item, the Angus Tote.
The Veske Angus Tote, like the rest of the range, is available in both black and khaki and is a fantastically stylish yet minimal bag for either business or leisure use. The shape makes it much more wearable than a holdall or barrel bag and the large pouch is ideal for holding everything you need for an overnight or a day of work.
It has been built from 100% cotton and features secure fidlock fastenings and press studs. This is a bag that will be at your side for years and years to come which makes the £185 price tag, a great investment.
