A look round the fresh new Nike Factory store at Gretna Gateway

Outlet shopping centres are the absolute best places to go to pick up some new gym gear or in fact sportswear in general in fact. After all, who really cares if your rocking last season’s running shorts? The prices are always way lower than the high street which means that you can get everything that you need without spending a small fortune.

Last week, I jumped in the car and drove down from Glasgow to the Gretna Gateway Outlet Village for the opening of their brand-new Nike Factory Store. It’s just off the motorway before you hit the English border and only took me about an hour to get too. They’ve just kicked off their New Vision, New Village project at Gretna and the new Nike store is the first phase of that. In the coming months, the whole centre is being given a swish new upgraded appearance but don’t worry as you will still be able to enjoy up to 60% off the RR.

The huge new Nike store at Gretna has a completely refreshed look. Everything from the floor up has been changed and the result is a great new store with a much more premium look and feel. In actual fact if it wasn’t for the lower prices you would easily think that this place was a full price store. The products are laid out really well in sections for different sports and activities so it’s really easy to shop what you are looking for too.

As you would expect from any Nike store, the emphasis is on footwear and they have a super range for men, women and kids that includes a lot of the iconic Nike styles. I even spotted a few really nice pairs of Air Max at almost half price too! It’s really worth having a good nose around on the lookout for bargains.

On the sportswear side of things, they have everything you need to dress for an active lifestyle, whether your thing is running, golf, football or something else. They also have essential items like classic the Nike sports socks at lower prices than I’ve seen anywhere else.

If you’re not in the market for some new sportswear then don’t write off a visit to Gretna Gateway as there are plenty of other big-name shops to keep you busy at too.  I’d definitely recommend checking out the Polo Ralph Lauren shop and Boss shops. Both of them had special offers on during my visit so keep a look out for those, they made the already discounted prices even better value!
