The summer of sport will continue next week as the first balls are played at Wimbledon, one of the country’s flagship sporting events. For the duration of the tennis tournament Nike will ensure that a number of the leading contenders are kitted out in their in their most advanced sportswear.
The NikeCourt London collection which uses innovation for maximum comfort and performances while staying true to the classic silhouettes that honour the tournament’s timeless tradition.
The new collection includes practice clothing that helps athletes prepare for the speed and low bounce angle of grass courts. In addition there is an all-white on court look with a range of classic and modern collars.
It is the off-court clothing that caught my eye though, in particular the packable bomber jacket which is lightweight and easy to carry.
