Jeez if ever there was a pair of sneaks to make my mouth water, it has to be the newly re-launched Nike Vintage Vortex. In-kind of the same way that girls get excited about ‘red soles’ I have a bit of a thing for purple sneakers at the moment. Since I missed out on the arrival of the New Balance Tassie Devils earlier this year I have been searching for the perfect pair of purple trainers to see me through the summer.
The Nike Vintage Vortex as I am sure you can guess from the style of it is not a new design. Originally a hit in the ’80s with runners, the re-launched version features comfortable cushioning as well as beautifully retro looks. The two-tone purple colour scheme sits absolutely perfectly with the radioactive green detailing and is completed with a vintage effect aged sole.
If you want to get your hands on them you better be quick, they hit the shops a couple of weeks back in this colour and are selling pretty fast already. They are available while stocks last at FOOTASYLUM priced £66.99.
