My obsession with all things Americana and Ivy League shows no signs of coming to a halt and thankfully the new Original Penguin range has fed my appetite this week.
The new collection for Spring 2015 takes the nod from preppy 1950’s athletic gear, centring around sweats, baseball bombers and the likes in shades of burgundy, navy and grey.
To celebrate the launch of Vintage GYM this month Original Penguin has teamed up with the celebrated menswear photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce to follow 4 influential geezers who are fast becoming leaders in their own fields.
The four men featured are Apprentice Hat Maker La Touché AKA Mr Hat, who spends time on the courts with his basketball. Men’s Health Associate Style Editor Jamie Millar who practices Calisthenics. Mathew Bourne’s Principle ballet dancer, Tom Clark and we see the sporty side of the normally dapper Phil Green of the Sartorial 7.
