Aquilo were most definitely one the best kept secrets of 2014. This year however things are going to blow up for the lads from Lancashire with their current EP already enjoying rave reviews and the news this week that their track ‘Losing You’ has just made it onto the BBC Radio 1 playlist.
The Aquilo sound is very much of the soft emotional vibe that seems to take me at least on a journey of hypnotic escapism and tranquility. The title track of the EP ‘Human’ is my standout release to date – give it a listen above if you are not yet familiar with Aquilo’s music.
