Bright Lights: Patrick Martinez & Jared Ryder for Playboy

Neon and Playboy go together like salt and vinegar.  LA artist Patrick Martinez is renowned for his conceptual creations using neon as a medium.  Recently he teamed up with photographer Jared Ryder to created a special project for the Playboy iPhone app.

The video features 2010 Playboy Playmate Kassie Logsdon.  For the project Martinez sculpted a red Playboy flashing neon sign which adds a dark and seductive edge to the shoot.  You can watch a behind the scenes video below, which includes a round-up of the project and the story of how it was put together by Martinez himself.
