To mark its 120th anniversary, Red Wing Heritage is dipping into the archives — and it’s doing so with a nod to Japan. In collaboration with Red Wing Japan, the brand is relaunching the 9111 boot exclusively for Europe, a silhouette that helped shape Japan’s early workwear-as-lifestyle movement.
Originally a staple in the wardrobes of Japanese style enthusiasts, the 9111’s clean lines and understated profile became synonymous with a new wave of heritage fashion. This EU-only reissue brings that energy back, pairing timeless design with Red Wing’s signature build quality.
Crafted from Copper Rough & Tough oil-tanned leather, the 9111 offers rugged durability with a rich, natural finish. It features triple stitching, Goodyear welt construction, and a white Traction Tred rubber outsole — all built around the iconic round toe silhouette that helped define Japanese workwear culture.
The 9111 boot lands exclusively in Red Wing Heritage EU stores from Monday 23 June 2025, priced at £309. Sizes start at UK6 — and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
