Something for the Weekend: Yayoi Kasuma, Mexican Brunch, Skincare & more

Friday is with us once again, which means that the weekend is within touching distance. Hooray! If you’re still looking for things to do or ways to enjoy it, then we have a few suggestions lined up for you.

Bottomless Mexican Brunch, Skylight Tobacco Dock, London

Skylight Tobacco Dock is most definitely a hidden gem in London. From their rooftop space, you can take in views of London whilst enjoying tasty food and drinks from their menu.

If you head down Friday through Sunday, their Mexican Bottomless Brunch offers you a 2-hour slot to enjoy your choice of 1 Mexican food bowl and 60 minutes of bottomless house wine, Stella (including 0%) or Picante cocktails for the price of £34.99.

Van Hunks Cap Classique Brut Sparking Wine

If you don’t fancy venturing past your front door this weekend but fancy something tasty to sip on, then let us recommend, Van Hunks Brut Sparking Wine.

Van Hunks Méthode Cap Classique Brut is a South African sparkling wine made from a combination of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes harvested from the Western Cape region. It’s an elegant-looking wine with a zesty, crisp taste that pairs perfectly with light dishes and salads.

Yayoi Kusama: You, Me and the Balloons @ Aviva Studios, Manchester

You’ll remember the work of Yaypo Kusama recently during their recent partnership which saw their colourful work adorn a Louis Vuitton store in Paris. Well now, you can get up close and personal with some of her creations for the first time at You, Me and the Balloons at the newly opened Avivas Studios, Manchester.

Kusama is renowned for her largescale, hallucinatory style of painting sculpture and immersive works. At Avivas Studios you can take a journey through some of her creations including giant dolls, spectacular tendrilled landscapes and a vast constellation of polka-dot spheres.

Bioeffect EGT Serum

If this past week has taken a toll on your skin and you fancy a little splurge on some very nice skincare then Bioeffect should be on your radar. We were recently sent a few products from their range to try and their EGT Serum (£129 for 15ml) has instantly become an essential.

You only need a tiny drop of this powerful serum to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores while improving radiance. It really does deliver more radiant-looking skin almost instantly.
