The eye-catching collaboration with Nike Football and Virgil Abloh has finally been officially unveiled. The special edition Mercurial Vapor 360 football boots have been designed in a fluorescent orange with bright white detailing.
You might also be wondering what those large blue and white dots represent on the sides of the boots. Abloh, who has recently been revealed as the new men’s artistic director at Louis Vuitton, said that these were included to represent the optimal place to strike the ball – just in case you were in any doubt about that. They also feature Abloh’s trademark ‘Off-White’ branding on the side and come in cool as you like keepsake box.
If you want to see the boots in action for yourself then you can watch them get their first run out on the pitch this Saturday when the PSG star Kylian Mbappé will wear them as his team takes on Monaco in Paris. If you like what you see then you’ll then be able to buy them (in limited quantities) from that same afternoon.
