Topman Spray On Skinny Jeans

Just when you thought your jeans could not get any tighter around your crown jewels, Topman has somehow managed it…

Skinny jeans have in recent years become the new ‘standard’ fit for most fashion-conscious lads. Just as girls a few years back were running around in ‘boyfriend jeans’ it is now socially acceptable for us guys to borrow a pair from the opposite sex.  It certainly looks that way anyway.

Topman Spray On Skinny jeans have arrived and they have managed to remove every last ounce of spare denim from regular skinny jeans.  Eek.  These leg hugging garments, which are surprisingly comfortable to wear, are one of the key looks for AW13.

I have recently snapped up a couple of pairs for myself and will admit that once you get over the initial ‘OMG I am wearing leggings’ moment you realise that they are not actually that bad.  The challenging part is peeling them off your legs at the end of the day.

Of course, skinny jeans are not for everybody, there is absolutely no hiding in these jeans.  Chances are though that if you already shop at Topman then they will be right up your street.

The fit is skinny on the hips and they are tapered to the ankle and have a low-rise to give a snug fit around the thighs.  Of course, skinny jeans are not for everybody, there is absolutely no hiding in these jeans.  Chances are though that if you already shop at Topman then they will be right up your street.

My top tip when wearing super skinny or spray-on jeans is to avoid anything too snug on your top half.  You don’t want to look like you are wearing a catsuit or are dressed up like a wrestler (Halloween aside), stick to loose-fitting t-shirts, vest and shirts.

These really can be teamed with just about anything, to be honest, but keep it simple and for autumn, throw on a few layers to build a cool look.  Jackets, shirts and sweaters are ideal for building a relaxed hipster look.
