You Need to Hear This with Mount Kimbie

Noisey and Philips have joined forces to launch a new music initiative aptly titled ‘You Need To Hear This‘.  The premise is bringing you the latest sounds, exclusive events and firsts that you won’t see or hear anywhere else.

YNTHT is not about delivering you pop gossip or the new single from the manufactured music production line.  They aim to re-ignite your passion for good sounds by exploring just what music is all about and ‘making you feel like a kid again’.  Sounds good to us.

Last month Electronic music duo Mount Kimbie complete with a brass band in tow played at the launch party down at Hoxton Docks.  This collaboration was a first for the Mount Kimbie lads and represents just what YNTHT is all about.  Noisey have produced a special short film with the Mount Kimbie lads which you can watch above.
