Estrella Damm reaches its 150 year milestone with a quietly confident design update, now rolling out across UK shelves, that brings the brand back to where it began: Barcelona.
The anniversary collection introduces seven limited edition can and bottle designs, each drawing from a defining element of the city. La Sagrada Família appears in sharp, graphic form, while Camp Nou and the original Damm brewery nod to the brand’s long standing ties to sport and craft. Elsewhere, the bottles widen the lens, taking in Barcelona’s beaches, its festival culture, the sensory overload of La Boqueria and the city’s unmistakable skyline.
The strength lies in the restraint. Rather than overworking the moment, the designs lean into a refined visual language, balancing bold colour with clean composition. The result feels considered and contemporary, closer to something you would expect from a well executed fashion or lifestyle collaboration than a standard beer release.
There is also a clarity of intent. At a time when heritage can often be overstated, Estrella Damm uses design to articulate its origins with precision. Founded in Barcelona in 1876, the brand’s Mediterranean identity is not reimagined here, just distilled and presented with a sharper edge.
Already in rotation across the UK, the collection distils Barcelona into something immediate, considered and easy to return to.
