If the brand spanking new Hackett store on Regent Street is anything to go by there are certainly big things in store for the classic British men’s outfitter who has a proud heritage dating all the way back to 1979.
The new spring-summer collection which has a focus on soft colours, checks and of course classic British tailoring has now started to arrive instore and online. Formal and casual looks sit side by side all crafted to the finest standards – that is exactly what I love about Hackett.
With the temperatures in the UK still feeling a tad nippy my stand out item from the SS14 collection would have to be this silk crew neck jumper (shown below) in coral. The cable knit design will keep you warm, but the colour will have you set for spring…when it finally arrives. Team it with a classic white oxford shirt and some slim denim or chinos for the perfect weekend look.
Another item that caught my eye as I was browsing the new range is the packable navy travel mac. Completely foldable and lightweight this is exactly the kind of thing you should have handy for the looming April showers. It doesn’t hurt of course that it looks the part too.
You can check out more from the new spring collection over at hackett.com.
