MIKA is back. The multi-platinum, GRAMMY®-nominated pop visionary drops his first English-language album since 2019 today. Hyperlove is all about fearless joy, raw emotion, and music that connects.
Lead single “Excuses For Love” sets the tone: euphoric, bass-driven, and unafraid to wear its heart on its sleeve. Across the album, MIKA returns to the piano, pairing his classically trained voice with vintage analogue production. He’s reunited with Nick Littlemore of Empire of the Sun and PNAU, while John Waters adds sharp, witty narration throughout.
To celebrate, MIKA heads back on the road with arena shows in the UK and Europe this February, including Manchester AO Arena and London OVO Arena Wembley, before hitting North America next spring.
From “Grace Kelly” to Life in Cartoon Motion, MIKA has been one of pop’s most distinctive voices for nearly two decades. With Hyperlove, he’s delivering a record fuelled by curiosity, craft, and love without excuses.
