Ministry of Sound’s New Club Night Brings Back Raw Tech House

London’s nightlife is about to get a shake-up with the launch of URGE, a fresh club night at the iconic Ministry of Sound. Debuting on Saturday, 1st February, URGE is all about returning to the gritty, underground roots of tech house—a genre that was born in the city’s clubs back in the 90s.

This isn’t your typical over-the-top night out. URGE ditches the flashy extras and hones in on what really matters: driving beats, stripped-back production, and an atmosphere where music takes centre stage. The vibe is raw, immersive, and made for serious dancers.

The launch lineup is stacked with talent, led by Davide Squillace, the Italian maestro known for his distinctive grooves. He’s joined by Cuartero, the Spanish DJ at the forefront of underground house, and Olugbenga, Metronomy’s bassist who knows how to set a crowd alight. Add in rising stars like Rennie Peters, Sanne Dammers, and Travis Casa, and it’s clear this isn’t one to miss.

Ministry of Sound’s legendary venue is the perfect home for URGE. With its newly revamped spaces—including an upgraded lighting rig in The 103 and a year-round canopy in The Courtyard—it’s ready to deliver the kind of unforgettable clubbing experience that’s made it world-famous.

URGE promises to strip clubbing back to its essentials, where the music, the crowd, and the energy are all that matter. If you’re craving a proper dancefloor experience, this is the night for you.

Tickets are on sale now—don’t sleep on this one.
