It doesn’t even feel like summer has started yet but unfortunately, it’s almost gone. How on earth that happened is beyond me! Apart from the fact it feels like it hasn’t stopped raining in weeks, it feels like only 5 minutes since spring started.
As we are but a few days from the start of September the countdown to the end of summer is well and truly on and with that in mind it is definitely time to start thinking about your Autumn wardrobe.
Central to your look for any new season is, of course, a versatile jacket and it is where I started when crafting my current look. I opted for this suede Topman biker jacket from House of Fraser. It’s black, which is my favourite colour for outerwear and the suede material is perfect for those cold crisp autumnal days and nights.
Wherever I go I need to carry around a whole bunch of stuff for work (laptop, camera, notebooks etc) so I’m pretty much always accompanied by a bag. This season Fjallraven has just released their new ‘Re-Kanken’ bags which are available in a whole range of earthy colours and made from a single yarn of recycled plastic bottles. I went for the slate grey to compliment my everyday monochrome style.
Luckily my wardrobe is already full of white and grey t-shirts which team up perfectly with this look along with a pair of slim back jeans so I’m sorted!
