NOT BAD FOR A GIRL Lines Up Breakout Summer Across UK Clubs and Festivals

NOT BAD FOR A GIRL is quietly becoming one of the most interesting forces in UK dance music right now, and this summer looks set to push things up another level.

The collective has announced a run of shows and stage takeovers across the UK, landing everywhere from Dalston Superstore to Ministry of Sound, before closing out the season with a major slot at The Prodigy’s Warrior’s Dance event in Manchester.

It’s a lineup that reflects both credibility and momentum. Across the summer, NBFG residents will share stages with names like Carl Cox, MJ Cole, Lil Silva and Sarah Story, while continuing to platform their own emerging talent in the process.

London plays host to much of the early run. Karlie Marx steps into her new resident role with a headline set at Dalston Superstore, before the collective takes over The Cause for a Green Party event that has quickly built a reputation for blending music and culture. A Ministry of Sound appearance follows in June, where NBFG will bring its signature high energy sound to the Loft as part of GULLY.

By August, things scale up. A full stage takeover at Wythenshawe Park will see the collective slot into one of the summer’s biggest electronic lineups, alongside The Prodigy, Carl Cox and Andy C.

What sets NOT BAD FOR A GIRL apart is the balance. Alongside a packed events schedule, the collective continues to push conversations around gender equality in dance music, hosting panels and building a platform that actively supports new artists coming through.

For a movement that started at grassroots level, this feels like a natural next step. Less hype, more substance and a summer that could mark a real shift in visibility.
