Christian Furr & Chris Bracey ‘Staying Alive’

Chris Bracey & Christian Furr join forces to launch ‘Staying Alive’ a show about Art, Rock and Poetry inspired by Einstein, Edison and Essex.

Christian Furr became the youngest artist to have ever officially painted Queen Elizabeth II, when in 1995 – at the age of twenty-eight – he was invited by the Queen to paint her portrait at Buckingham Palace. The work was commissioned by and hangs at the Royal Overseas League, St James, London.

Chris Bracey has been the Neon Man for 37 years creating iconic art pieces for David la Chappelle, Martin Creed etc with a cult following in London and Los Angeles.

Showcasing their latest pieces, key artworks will be available for purchase and to take in the neon glow – artworks are displayed as either wall mounts or table pieces – The Beatles “All You Need Is Love” – the artwork is as tall as me and is visually amazing when in real life where the images pulsating different colours. Other Key pieces featured include The Rolling Stones with ‘Its Good To Be Here” (with perfect timing to their upcoming shows) and of course the namesake of the exhibition with “Staying Alive”.

The Staying Alive exhibition will be held at art hotel 45 Park Lane from Thursday 4 July – Friday 30 August.
