[UNVRS] Unveils Cinematic Film Ahead of Ibiza Grand Opening

With anticipation high, Ibiza’s newest nightlife destination [UNVRS] is set to open its doors on May 30th, marking a new chapter in immersive club experiences. To celebrate, the venue has released a bold cinematic film that takes viewers on a global journey across some of the world’s most iconic nightlife scenes.

Directed by Michael Lawrence and produced by Dissidence Production, the film follows an asteroid weaving through Tokyo, Rio, New York, and beyond—not as a symbol of destruction, but as a unifying force, connecting raw moments of culture, celebration, and human connection. Filmed over 35 days across eight countries, it captures the pulse of Rio Carnival, full moon parties in Thailand, and underground raves deep in the jungle, offering a visceral glimpse into the universal spirit of nightlife.

Authenticity was key, with the team chasing unscripted, spontaneous moments, featuring real people and untold stories—from cartel gatherings in Colombia to fireworks at sea. The project extends beyond the screen, with [UNVRS] collaborating with global creators to bring the film’s asteroid into real-life locations across Seville, Los Angeles, and beyond, turning the experience into an interactive moment.

As the countdown to Ibiza’s May 30th launch begins, [UNVRS]—led by Yann Pissenem and The Night League (the team behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza)—promises next-level sound, immersive spaces, and a fresh take on music, movement, and connection.

Tickets for the debut season are available at unvrs.com.
