Vini Jr. x Nike: A Mercurial Built for Speed and Style

Vini Jr. has officially stepped into the spotlight with his first-ever Nike Player Edition boot, and it’s every bit as bold as his game. The Nike Mercurial Vapor Vini Jr. Player Edition is a tribute to his Brazilian roots, his electric pace, and his rise to football’s elite.

The boot’s Color of Speed design is impossible to miss—an iridescent gradient that nods to Vini’s rapid acceleration and flair on the pitch. The medial side fades from red to yellow, a homage to his early days at Flamengo, while the lateral side blends blue, green, and yellow, reflecting the Brazilian national team’s iconic colors.

Performance-wise, this Mercurial doesn’t hold back. A three-quarter-length Air Zoom unit delivers explosive acceleration, while the Gripknit toe box ensures a precise boot-to-ball connection. The oversized Swoosh, inspired by Nike’s Vaporfly and Alphafly super shoes, doubles down on the speed-first mentality.

Vini Jr.’s signature “Vini Fly, Vini Voa” branding runs across the boot, reinforcing his reputation as one of the fastest and most dynamic players in the game. With a black Gripknit upper contrasting the vibrant color scheme, the design is as sharp as his footwork.

Dropping globally on May 26, the Nike Mercurial Vapor Vini Jr. Player Edition will be available at nike.com and select retailers. Expect to see these boots lighting up pitches worldwide—just like the man himself.
