Tonight, the 40th Brit Awards took place in London and to be honest apart from a few moments of brilliance from Lizzo, Stormzy, Billie Eilish and the amazing Dave the ceremony was a pretty bland affair.
The Brits used to be a huge event. The eyes of the world were on the event and it was right up there with the Grammy’s in terms of impact. Those days are sadly long gone but it’s not all lost as we sometimes are still treated to an iconic performance or two.
Dave performed ‘Black’ live on the Brits stage before picking up the award for Best Album for Psychodrama and even took time out to call PM Boris Johnston racist during his time on stage.
