James Franco has appeared in commercials for fashion powerhouse Gucci since 2007. The actor has this week premiered the documentary The Director which he produced at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
The documentary follows the creative director of Gucci, Frida Giannini. A behind the scenes look at the casting process and an insight into Fridas inspirations is revealed. Frida and James have had a close working relationship since she head hunted him for the Gucci by Gucci campaign.
