We Love: Wellthy by Boots Electrolytes

Living well in a fast-paced world is often about the small things that help keep everything ticking over. When work gets busy, travel starts stacking up and social plans do not exactly keep to a neat schedule, the basics suddenly matter a lot more and hydration is right up there.

I’ve been using the Wellthy by Boots electrolytes range for about a month now, and they’ve become one of those easy habits that actually sticks. They’ve helped me feel more on top of hydration during a pretty hectic spell of work, travel and partying, which is exactly when these kinds of products tend to earn their place in the routine.

That was especially true on a recent trip to Ibiza, where they were pretty much my saviour. Smashing out 40K steps a day and spending long stretches on the dance floor felt a lot more straightforward with them in the mix. They made keeping hydrated feel plain sailing, which is no small thing when you are moving from one thing to the next from morning until late.

What makes the range work is that it does not stop at simply being an electrolyte drink. There are four varieties, each with a different added benefit depending on what you want from it. There is Smooth Blueberry for rest and restore, Sour Cherry and Pomegranate for radiant skin, Sweet Orange and Lemon for immune support, and Lime and Mint for energy and focus.

The Lime and Mint flavour is probably my favourite. It tastes genuinely great, fresh and clean, and far more enjoyable than the sort of overly sweet, synthetic flavour some hydration products can have. It makes it much easier to actually want to drink, which is half the battle with anything like this.

The sachets are probably what make the biggest difference. They are easy to throw into a bag, handy for travel and remove the excuse of forgetting about hydration altogether. I keep a couple in my bag and they can just be tipped straight into a bottle of water whenever I need them. After a month of using them, they have become one of those products I reach for without really thinking about it, which is usually the sign of something worth keeping around. At £7 for a box of 12 sachets across all four varieties, they feel like a pretty easy thing to keep in rotation.
