What do you get when you mix the Vans Old Skool and Slip on trainer?

The Slip-Skool of course!

I don’t regularly wear Vans if I’m honest but when these popped up on my social media feed this morning I did stop to take a closer look.

New for 2020, the footwear brand have been hard at work developing something ‘new’ for fans. The Vans Slip-Skool takes the silhouette of the Slip-on and adds the body of the Old Skool.

The new style is available in both iconic Vans Checkerboard print as well as in a canvas navy and red colourway. Both looks great.

It’s the addition of the new clear cased cover that really caught my eye though. Made from a synthetic Feelmax material that has been focused on areas such as the tongue to provide stabilisation. I’m wondering if it’s going to protect the she fro dirt though. Some thing that appeals to me a lot.

They’re available now from Vans stores and Van’s Online in the USA priced at $75.

Thoughts?
