Claptone Brings The Masquerade Back to Ibiza’s Chinois for Summer 2026

Claptone returns to Chinois Ibiza this summer as The Masquerade resumes its Saturday residency from May 16 to October 10.

Following its relocation last season, the concept has found a permanent rhythm at Chinois, located within Ibiza Gran Hotel in Marina Botafoch. The setting offers a more focused club environment, defined by a stripped-back, dancefloor-led ethos that aligns closely with the residency’s identity.

For 2026, Claptone extends the format with longer headline sets and a recalibrated curation approach ahead of his fourth studio album Wanderer, released May 8 via Golden Path and Warner ADA. The project signals a continuation of his melodic, house-driven direction while introducing a more expansive palette of collaborators and ideas.

The guest programme reflects that scope. Returning names include Faithless, Pete Tong and Nora En Pure, alongside Dimitri From Paris. UK pairing Hannah Wants and Paul Woolford return following their 2025 back-to-back set, with appearances from 2manydjs, A-Trak and Juliet Sikora.

New additions include Deep Dish, The Blessed Madonna and Korolova, broadening the residency’s sonic range from classic house through to contemporary melodic and techno-inflected styles.

The Masquerade remains one of Ibiza’s most consistent weekly fixtures, defined less by spectacle and more by continuity, curation and atmosphere. In 2026, it continues to refine that position rather than reinvent it.
