Defected Will Close Their Virtual Festival Series this Friday with Carl Cox, MK & Idris Elba

One of the highlights of this lockdown has undoubtedly been the fantastic live DJ sets on social media from some of the biggest names of the music world.

Right at the forefront of those has been Defected records with their Virtual Festival series bringing us a completely unparalleled array of top talent every week since March 20th.

Sadly the time has come for the curtain to fall on the Defected Virtual Festival, as this week will be the last in the seminal series, but don’t worry they are going out with a bang, and probably the best lineup yet.

From 2pm on Friday 22nd May, Defected will be hosting Carl Cox, Idris Elba, MK, Boys Noize, Sam Divine and Nic Fanciulli for their very special live-streamed closing party.

To date, the Defected Virtual Festival sessions have been watched by a whopping 14 million people in around 100 countries worldwide.

As well as entertaining loads of us on lockdown, the event has also been raising funds for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, with a fantastic $1,200,000 being raised so far!

Head to the Defected Records YouTube page this Friday from 2pm to get involved.
