With most of us on lockdown, the latest additions to streaming platforms are becoming the highlight of my week. Thankfully there have been a few good drops recently but there is one in particular that I’ve been looking forward to for a while.
‘Hollywood’, is the latest series from the much-acclaimed producer Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story, Pose, The Politician) and will land on Netflix this week.
The series follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in post-World War II Hollywood as they try to make it in Tinseltown — no matter the cost.
In keeping with the Ryan Murphy formula, we can expect a drama-filled glimpse behind life in 1940’s Hollywood. The golden age they called it, but for many, it was not so golden. If your skin colour, age, sexuality or sex didn’t fit then life was anything but easy.
You can stream ‘Hollywood’ which stars David Corenswer, Darren Criss, Jeremy Pope and Laura Harrier from 8am BST on May 1st.
