London’s Design Museum is about to get a serious dose of Wes Anderson magic. Wes Anderson: The Archives is the first-ever retrospective dedicated to the filmmaker’s unmistakable aesthetic, bringing over 600 original props, costumes, sketches, and models straight from his cinematic universe.
Expect to see the three-metre-wide Grand Budapest Hotel model, vending machines from Asteroid City, and even Gwyneth Paltrow’s iconic FENDI fur coat from The Royal Tenenbaums. The exhibition dives deep into Anderson’s meticulous world-building, showcasing the craftsmanship behind his stop-motion classics Fantastic Mr. Fox and Isle of Dogs.
Originally premiering in Paris, the London edition ups the ante with 100 new objects, offering an even richer look at Anderson’s creative process. From handwritten notebooks to rare screenings this is a must-see for film lovers and design obsessives alike.
Running from November 21, 2025, to July 26, 2026, this exhibition is set to be one of the year’s biggest cultural moments. Tickets are on sale now so if you want to step inside Anderson’s world, now’s the time to lock it in.
